Barchetta

Disclaimer: my step daughter works here. That said, we could definitely drive to Boulder and meet her for dinner anywhere. Instead we try to go up when she’s working so we can have the amazing pizza. Dough? Superb. Crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside. The toppings? Unique and high quality. The dishes besides pizza? This time we had carrot curry soup and though it wasn’t my favorite dish I’ve had there it was smooth and flavorful. I didn’t get it this time because I was already a bit hung over but the tap wall is aces! I love getting to sample a lot of stuff without paying for and drinking seven drinks! The restaurant is cute and cozy and the staff work together really well. I would drive up to Boulder for this pizza even without my kid working there!

Delicious pizza with unique combinations. We split a white pie- half Verde Verde half Shaggy Rogers. I preferred the v2 but shaggy was good too! Also split a wedge salad. I'll be honest I don't get the hype for a head of iceberg sliced in half. But this was good. Needed a little more dressing, but that's my personal preference. Anything blue Ordering took place at the counter. Everything brought to table. Everyone was helpful, polite and friendly. We'll be back for sure!

It's a cool spot with a friendly staff and car shop atmosphere. The pizzas have great choices of toppings, and the two we tried were delicious. However, so many people recommend this place for GF pizza, I have to divide this review because it's crazy uneven. Non gluten-free: absolutely amazing, tasty crust, HUGE pizza. Gluten free: pizza is much, much, much smaller, with very thin crust. It's tasty, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing like the non-GF one. And yes, making gluten free is more tricky, but let's just go to Marco's Coal Fired in Denver and see how it can be done. Barchetta is not a good example of GF pizza. Pizzas here are also pretty expensive - in case of the regular one, I can kinda understand because of the size. But the gluten free one is tiny and more expensive. So overpriced. In other words, it's ok, but DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. Gluten free guys, choose a different place, regular people without allergies and sensitivities, enjoy. Still, I'm giving it 4/5 because of how happy my husband was with the regular one.

Three of us stopped in after hearing so much about the pizza. We got some apps and a few pizzas and all were very good. The cheese bread stood out as surprisingly excellent to all members of our party. The self-serve beer and wine options weren’t very extensive and we only found two options that we enjoyed. Unfortunately, the service was lackluster, disjointed, and confusing. Next time, we will either pick up our food or visit when it’s a bit less busy.

A solid spot in Boulder for excellent thin crust pizza with unique toppings and combinations. Had the breakfast pizza - with white sauce, pork sausage, scrambled egg, and maple syrup. Order at the counter, and they'll bring it out to you. Limited but acceptable seating. Self-serve beer and wine taps, decent options, but somewhat limited selection. Overall, the experience was great. A must do!

It’s a very casual establishment. We ordered at the counter and seated ourselves. They did come around with plates and water. The pizzas were okay. The cheese on the Margherita was quite salty. We also got the Bee Thousand, which I didn’t try, but it seemed that the prominence of the honey didn’t suit my family’s taste. These pizzas are thin-crust, but they suffer from a soggy bottom. Also, do note that the Giardiniera is hot and spicy.
